Prada's Theme

/!\ Before you begin, go to menu, settings, displays, main menu and select classic. /!\

To help you find, create a folder "Kp500" in c: /.

1. Downloads:

Please download this (Cust). To read cust, download WinImage here.
For the theme, you've to download it (the white one) or it (the Black one) (Thanks to bbpoux and art903 )
Even this. (FlashDevice_usb_drive)
And downloaded it, Lg_utils ic.
(Once finished downloading, unpack everything in the folder "Kp500).

2. Installation FlashDevice_usb_drive:

Unzip it, install it, then connect your laptop to pc
having taken care to remove the sim card, battery and card
memory.
If the installation has been done, the installation wizard will appear alone, and follow the instructions.
/! \ Unplug the telephone /!\ Otherwise it will not.

3. Amendments to the Cust:

Open the file Cust with WinImage, double-click
Lgapp, you'll see "DMF", then you right-click "delete file".
Take DMF prada theme and put it in Cust in place of the deleted.

4. Send Cust of the partition in the phone:

Run "Kp500_utils_Fr" (it is in the decompression Lg_utils).
The "Dos" will open and made the "C" (/! \ Everything is capitalized in the Dos /! \)
Make like the image below:




Connect your phone when the request as above without battery, sim and memory card.

It will take some time and when the program say that it is finally finished xD

No, for change to the old theme, you've to put the original firmware!

This stupid Flash USB drive is out of date or something?
I have connected the phone WITHOUT battery, SIM card and Memory card, but when I plug in the phone it says the installation of flash usb went wrong. I really don't know what the hell is happening ...

Are there other themes as the black and white prada? or how can i open the *.dmf files

I did what you said in the tutorial to change the theme ... and I expected to end a period and an error mio appeared and I started to phone me logo appears from LG after the same animation with LG and reset ... and the LG logo with animation and the number is reset ... tell me what to do are desperate

I don't know ... After trying to install the prada theme, all my contacts were deleted. From now I don't do anything like that, I'll just wait for the software with themes. LG is working on it right now so ...

I tried to make the operation dak gives me the error "ERROR DURING THE DATE sending: TIMEOUT occurred DURING RECEPTION Packet"

Perhaps nobody anwers cause you said you will wait for original themes!
What exactly is your problem?

As I said, the Flash Utility isn't working. I plug in my mobile to the computer without SIM Card, battery and memory card. Than the driver is being installed and after 5 seconds it says ''failed''. Just failed with no reason or solution available.
Perhaps that's the problem why it isn't sending a CUST to my mobile.
You gotta MSN or something like that? Messaging via forum is a bit annoying and long, and I want this theme as soon as possible.
Oh and by the way, I'm using WINDOWS VISTA x32, so it should me no problem.

sounds like the flash usb driver is not installed correct! make sure that this is intalled BEFORE using the flash tool!

I have the same problem! I tried black and white theme and the problem is the same!

this up, I managed to solve, but now I have a second problem! In half the process installation was stopped and now my phone is constantly restart. When trying to repeat the installation after "Sending memory data in progress ..." it says:

"Error during the data sending: Timeout occurred during packet reception,"

Please heeeelp!

Please can you revise the tutorial for the KP 501

The filenames state for the kp500 so i do not want to go ahead and brick my fone or anything like that please advise
